First week of attachment just ended.
Learnt a number of stuff like some of the more basic machines, experiencing and helping with handling a patient and so on. Some administrative stuff too.
People in SERI, Singapore Eye Research Institute were all very friendly, and they are having a 2 years-once meeting at suntec so they were very busy. it's called ARVO.
In SERI, there's not only one project going on, but 43 projects! and we were in charge in helping out and learning in 1 of the projects.
also, learnt about how they actually bring the patients from their home to SERI to volunteer to help with their study, which is
A STUDY ON REFRACTIVE ERROR, AMBLYOPIA, STRABISMUS IN SINGAPOREAN CHINESE PRESCHOOLERS.
we also get to know the procedures and stuff. fun!
